Lady's walk: Ladurée Tea Room
Newly open at Time Square, Causeway Bay
They finally launch their tea room in Hong Kong, it's nice place to sit down for some light lady's gourmets and a relaxing tea time after doing some shopping around. They offer les macarons, le thé et la café, some light simple cakes as well. But here they do not offer any fine pastry and cake, what a pity..

Les pâtisseries du jour:
Cake au Citron - sponge cake with lemon zests, soaked in fresh lemon syrup, candied lemon
Les Macarons - Rose Petal (pink), Pink Pepper (grey), Milk Chocolate Passion Fruit Coconut (yellow)
Le thé choisi:
Thé Roi Soleil - green tea marked by the energy of bergamot combined with rhubarb and caramel
Thé Marie-Antoinette - delicious marriage of Chinese and Indian black teas combined with rose petals, citrus fruit and honey

The Cake au citron is unexpectedly refreshing, with very strong scent and flavour of lemon, quite soft and not oily anyway. Another surprise is the Pink Pepper Macarons - have been attracted by the pepper flavour, the black pepper savour perfectly matches with the rose cream in between, fresh and fascinating macarons!
