Bonjourcris,
-
It's almost the end of my semester break, where have you been these weeks?
Recently I have jumped out of the busy land, off the city dynamics, and paid a visit to Lamma Island.
Remembering the last time coming here, it probably was at my single-digit age lol Terribly long time ago!
Lamma is also a treasure piece of Hong Kong, beautiful scenery, fresh seafood, village peace and defo nice breezy air. It also gets a hiking track for some newbies for hiking, like an hour or more walk between Yuen Shue Wan and Sok Ku Wan, the two sides of Lamma Island.

Good morning with the nice weather, getting off an 20-min ferry trip, we come to the Main Street of Yung Shue Wan, how grateful to have such nice weather today! Sunny sheds on the limpid sea water, sparkling and shiny!
Visiting Lamma, definitely should we enjoy lunch outdoor, with the nice weather!
Seeing eagles hover in the blue sky, listening to the symphony of the waves, and for ensure enjoying some nice cuisines. Im sure everyone adore this kind of life!

Like a meal couldn't miss a nice dessert, but yes we crave for local food anyway! Lamma has a traditionally renowned dessert hidden at the countryside. Foodie would defo come for itttt! Tofu-faaaa :D
Kin Hing Tofu Dessert
建興亞婆豆腐花
1 Yung Shue Wan, Tai Wan To, Lamma Island
Silky and smooth tofu pudding, with a strong scent of soy flavour. But, I prefer less syrup for more original soy savoury. Next time, I gotta try the hot toufu-fa here :p

One of the most interesting and healthiest activity here is to have a walk - hiking! Charged up with a nice bowl of tofu dessert as well as a nice lunch, shouldn't we burn off some of the calories ((guiltyyyy... nahh kidding))
Spend an hour or more before the dinner time, like around 4pm, journey down Lamma with a nice walk for some fabulous scenery. You would probably be surprised and amazed by some enchanting nice view. So lucky I got a nice weather today, a blue lucid sky with mild cool breeze, never too hard for some slants as a newbie of hiking loll.
Yeaa, spring is also a good time for a countryside outing, the greenery scene is definitely refreshing!
This would probably be the best sunset I have ever seen in Hong Kong, gorgeous one! How adorable it is (:

Rainbow Seafood Restaurant
G/F, First Street, Sok Ku Wan, Lamma Island
Lamma Island is renowned for their fresh seafood though well-know for its expensiveness as well. Some clams, some lobsters, some scallops, that would be great enough bringing you a satisfying dinner after a nice chill around the hill :p You may also ask for free ship tickets returning to the city after the meal here!

Sampan Seafood Restaurant
16 Main Street, Yung Shue Wan, Lamma Island
To start off another day with a nice breakfast, cha chan teng might be a good choice but why not enjoying some dim sums with a nice sea view! Enjoying some delish siu mais or chinese spongy cake with peaceful wave sound, that are something that we can never find in our flourish city land!

To end the tour, seems like I have been missing out one of the famous foodie spot in Lamma. Like many people comes pilgriming their girly floral-pattern settings and for sure their cheesecakes.
Shelly Cake Express
Shop C, 21 Back Street, Yung Shue Wan, Lamma Island
I pretty much adore their dining utensils which are quite beautiful and attractive indeed! And yea, nice service and environment here which is cozy and pleasing.
First taking a dip with a cup of hot fruit tea, sweety scent but mild sweetness in fact, so nice though I know this is the miracle of the tea bag served :p I have chosen apple and cinnamon tea, which gives good fruity scent with a nice black tea flavour, I don't think any sugar needed to be add anyway (:
Main course! There are not too many choices on the menu, but they would be more than enough for a nice dessert time. I am not used to be a cheesecake craver, I love cheese but not an expert :p I do enjoy their cakes, tasting for mild to strong flavour, the delicacy of the cakes bring you a good day.
Today's menu, sadly I can't see a strawberry one... Hope I can have a try of it next time!
Getting step by step, for a strong and richer cheese savoury cakes.
Tofu cheesecake, Mango yogurt cheesecake, Green tea cheesecake, Lanvender cheese cake
Starting the cheesecake moment with some lighter options, tofu cheesecake is right like a tofu, very smooth and soft, but I think the soy flavour can be even stronger. Mango yogurt one would be a fab choice for mango lover, 'cause a piece of mango flesh is hiding between the cake, a big piece of fruit woaww!
Among all, I like green tea cheesecake most, with a pleasant mild green tea scent and a rich texture of cheesecake, I prefer this more than those I tried in Teakha or Sinmei. The lavender one is the strongest cheesecake among, very exquisite new york cheesecake with mild lavender savoury slowly melting out each taste of the cake, surprising lovely and special (;
Spring comes,
